Oopsify ("we," "us," or "our") is built as an Offline-First application. Your privacy is our top priority. This Privacy Policy explains that we do not collect, store, or share any personal information from our users.
2. Data Collection
•Personal Data: Oopsify does not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, phone number, or location.
•Usage Data: We do not track how you use the app, which excuses you generate, or which categories you prefer.
•Permissions: The app may require local storage access solely to save your "Favorite" excuses on your device. This data never leaves your phone.
3. Third-Party Services
Oopsify does not use any third-party SDKs, analytics tools (like Firebase Analytics), or advertisement networks that track user behavior.
4. Data Security
Since all data (favorites and settings) is stored locally on your device using an encrypted-ready Room database, the security of your data depends on your device's security. We do not have access to your device's storage.
5. Sharing Data
The app includes a "Share" feature. When you use this, you are manually choosing to send text through other apps (like WhatsApp or Email) installed on your device. Oopsify itself does not facilitate any background data sharing.
6. Children’s Privacy
Our app does not collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Since we don't collect emails, we recommend checking this section within the app for any updates.
